Yeah, I'm thinking iBank is the way to go. Importing looks like a disaster, too, no QIF files for me! That means I have to:Ģ) Import the QIF files into Quicken for Windows 2004ģ) Maybe then import that Quicken file into Mac Quickenģa) Import the 2004 data file into Quicken for Windows 2014 and then into Mac Quicken seriously? Is this version designed for anterograde amnesia victims? And the 1% may have a hard time up voting tracking capital gains because that's not a feature yet either. A the bottom of this Quicken 2015 for Mac Comparison Chart you can see some missing features that will be voted on. However, beyond that I'm willing to bet iBank crushes Quicken on features. Quicken has cloud syncing right now and iBank does not. On features, it's pretty much going to be iBank, but with a notable exception that will be remedied this year (I hope). The mobile versions are free for Quicken, so score one for Intuit on price.
QUICKEN 2015 FOR MAC ADD A DEPOSIT UPDATE
The very capable iPad version is $20, and the badly in need of an update for handhelds is $5. The main competition, iBank, is $60, but that's just the Mac version. At first glance, the price seems high, $75 and probably a little bit of your life expectancy dealing with a 1.0 product from Intuit. Intuit does have 60-day refund policy, including purchases through the Mac App Store.
